Visit the Ranch!
Bring your Camper or RV – Camp by the Creek! Recreate, Bring your Horses – enjoy the national forest trails, Jackson Lake, Durago, Montezuma Fair Grounds or Mesa Verde! Experience camping like never before! You may access national forest trails from our property!
$25 per night / $20 per horse

Horse / Child Connection Programs
1 Hour ~ one on one with the horses in the round pen
Natural Horsemanship: We offer horse / human connection programs for all children. We introduce the wonder of the horse human relationship to children. Children grow through the teachings of a horse. We learn respect for them, ourselves and others; compassion; self-confidence; mindfulness; patience and other qualities that help us develop into caring adults. These programs also support the child’s awareness of their ability to empower their lives. Children learn the foundation of what natural horsemanship is and what it means to them. Come join us as we share dreams and more through the caring of these great animals!
Ages 6 to 12 yrs – $25 per session

Children Camp
Each camp is specifically created for the children groups that visit BDR. Activities will include: learning to care for nature and the ranch animals, horse connection programs, riding in arena, bonfires, group talks, one on one support, swimming, fishing, hiking… special guest appearances may be arranged as well.

Horse Boarding
Keep your horses where you can gain immediate and safe access to the hundreds of national forest trails!
Barn, Stalls and Pasture
$200 per month / $75 weekly.
All horses must have updated vaccinations and paperwork from their vet provided to keep all horses healthy!

BDR In the Future! We intend to provide horse therapy for children with special needs in the near future. Programs developed by NAHRA. Horse therapy programs are creating extraordinary results around the globe and along side we provide a nurturing environment, homestyle atmosphere where families can be involved with their child’s horse program. This is why Bear Dance Ranch is so unique and special!
Children’s groups welcome! We would love to organize a ranch week stay with your children’s organization!
Taking particular notice and being able to focus on the amazing world of nature and animals, one naturally sees the beauty in themselves. We encourage children to focus on the potential of their lives and we aim to “feed their souls” with positive words of unconditional love and encouragement. Not hype, but real value .. share real stories .. and focus on their spirit.
True health is a sound mind, body and soul. We respect and strive to nurture all three at Bear Dance Ranch.
